a figure of 8 walk starting at Digley reservoir  and to be in Holme at lunch time where there is a pub and a deli that sells sandwiches. The full walk is about 8.5 miles but the planned route gives options to only do about half that distance if that suits people better. 

 

Start: 10.30am from car park near Digley reservoir GR: 111,072. If you would like to join the walk at lunch time, estimated time in Holme is 12.45 - 1.30pm.

a short walk in Morley/Batley area to explore a historic ruin of Howley hall off the M62 that hardly anyone knows about. Built in 16th century and meant to be the size of Temple Newsam when built.
